Valentines Day Shirt

I decided to get a head start on Adelae's and Kaelee's Valentine's day shirt.
This one is actually Kaelees shirt and I thought I would share how to do it with you.

Materials Needed:

Shirt in the size you need.
Old red shirt
Lace Trim
Embroidery Thread
Needle

1) Cut out a red heart from the old shirt, cut a piece of lace trim in the length of the heart.

2) Turn the shirt inside out, pin the heart and lace trim to the front of the shirt like the picture below. (the side you want to see facing down)

3) Take your embroidery thread and stitch around the heart.

4) Turn the shirt rightside out, and the shirt should look something like this.

5) Pinch the top and pull down on the bottom layer, make sure you only have the top layer.

7) Cut a small hole to start and then cut out the top layer careful not to get to close to the stitching.

8) It should look like this when you are done.

9) Next take a strip of the red shirt and make a rosette flower out of it and sew it on and your done.

I added this to the back for fun.

Bleach Pen Jeans

My daughter has a thing about not wanting to wear jeans, so I decided to make some special design using a bleach pen and a stencil I got at Walmart, the back side is sticky so it sticks to the jeans.

Now she loves to wear them because they were one of a kind.

Hoodie Flower Tutorial

Here is a simple tutorial to add some cuteness to a little girls plain hoodie.

What you Need!

Scrap piece of cotton material not much, and scrap piece of jersey material.

First cut two leafy shape pieces out of your cotton fabric

Out of the jersey material cut 3 pieces similar to this.

Next make a rosette shape out of the long scalloped piece.

To fasten together sew in an out of the sides of the flower.

Next lay your lay your leafy pieces on the hood of your hoodie where you would like the flower to go and stich up the middle of each leaf.

Next add the round flower shapes (don't need to sew these on yet)

Now add your rosette type piece on and sew through the middle.

There ya go!

(Like this tut or not let me know its my first one)
